Rodeos in New Mexico

New Mexico's rodeo year runs April through October across the high desert and eastern plains. The Eastern New Mexico State Fair Rodeo in Roswell each fall is a fixture, and the New Mexico Rodeo Association sanctions much of the regional calendar. Youth and high-school rodeo are especially strong in the state.
