What RodeoList is

RodeoList is an informational directory of rodeo events in the United States. We aggregate publicly available event details from community submissions, uploaded posters (processed through automated extraction; see below), and published association schedules. We are not a ticketing platform, not an entry registrar, and not affiliated with any sanctioning body (PRCA, WPRA, IPRA, UPRA, BBR, NBHA, USTRC, NLBRA, or otherwise).

No warranty of accuracy

Event details are best-effort. Schedules change, events get postponed or cancelled, fees and payouts get revised. We do not guarantee that any listing is current, complete, or that any event will take place as listed. Always confirm with the producer directly before traveling or paying entry fees.

AI-assisted extraction

When you upload a poster image, we use a third-party AI service (Anthropic Claude Vision) to read text from the image and populate the form. The model can misread dates, prices, discipline lists, and contact info. We review extractions before publishing, but admin review is also fallible. If you spot an error, use the Report issue button on the event page.

Your submissions

By submitting an event, through the form or by uploading a poster, you represent that you have the right to share that information, and you grant RodeoList a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to reproduce and display the submitted text and images for the purpose of running and promoting this directory.

Don't submit content that isn't yours to share. Don't submit material that's defamatory, unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or that you wouldn't want a stranger to read out loud at a county fair. We reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any submission for any reason.

Removal and takedown requests

If you're the producer of an event and want a listing removed or corrected, email [email protected] from a verifiable address (e.g., one tied to your venue or association). We typically act within a few business days.

Copyright-holders who believe a poster or other image has been listed without permission should send a takedown request to [email protected] identifying the work and the listing. Repeat-infringer accounts and uploaders will be removed.

No accounts for visitors

Browsing RodeoList does not require an account. Submitting an event collects a contact email but does not create a persistent account. Admin sign-in is for site operators only.

Limitation of liability

RodeoList is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on listings, including travel costs, missed events, refused entries, or any decision based on information found here.

Changes

These terms may change as the site evolves. We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g., adding paid features) will be called out on the page itself before they take effect.
